Starting July 1, 2026, anime enthusiasts and visitors traveling from Kyoto will have a more straightforward way to reach the “NARUTO&BORUTO Shinobi-Zato” attraction at Nijigen no Mori on Awaji Island. A new direct bus ticket package will offer a seamless travel experience by combining a round-trip highway bus service from Kyoto Station to Awaji I.C. with admission to the popular anime park. This package is set to enhance the convenience of reaching the destination, making it an appealing day-trip option for both domestic and international tourists.

The journey from Kyoto to Awaji Island takes about 90 minutes, providing passengers a scenic ride across bridges with stunning sea views. Once at the park, visitors with the package can enjoy two of its main attractions: the three-dimensional maze known as “Heaven’s Scroll (Ten no Maki)” and the interactive mission rally called “Earth Scroll (Chi no Maki).” By eliminating the need for transfers, this package aims to offer a hassle-free visit to the anime-themed park, which is renowned for recreating the world of the beloved ninja series with attractions inspired by the Hidden Leaf Village and various interactive experiences.

This new travel package will be available for weekday journeys, excluding major holiday periods, ensuring a tranquil visit to the park. Ticket prices are set at 8,200 yen for adults and 4,250 yen for children, both inclusive of taxes. Tickets can be purchased online, and travelers must exchange them at the Kyoto Bus Ticket Center before boarding. The direct bus service is expected to draw more anime fans and tourists seeking unique summer travel experiences in Japan.

Nijigen no Mori, located on Awaji Island, is celebrated for its attractions based on popular Japanese entertainment franchises. It offers visitors the chance to engage in interactive experiences set against the backdrop of the island’s natural beauty. The introduction of the Kyoto direct bus service is anticipated to enhance the park’s accessibility, allowing more travelers to enjoy the blend of Japanese anime culture and immersive outdoor entertainment.
